Ethan Roos, D.D.S.
Dr. Roos was born and raised in West Des Moines, IA. He attended Valley High School and then went to college at Luther College in Decorah, IA. He then attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry to complete his dental training. His wife Sara is a Nurse Practitioner at the V.A. Hospital in Des Moines. Dr. Roos has 3 young children, Anna, Jonah, and Sophia. He enjoys spending time with his family, and gardening. He is currently a member of Bethany Baptist church and loves to be active in his church.
Monica Hjelmeland, R.D.H. & Office Manager
Monica was born and raised in Algona, Iowa. She attended Algona High School and then went to college for business at Hamilton College. She then attended Iowa Central Community College for her dental hygiene training. Monica loves spending time with her friends and family, working out, and being involved with her church, Willowcreek Baptist Church.
Anna Moreland, R.D.H.
Anna grew up in Colfax, Iowa. She attended DMACC for her dental hygiene training. She worked in Colfax for a year before venturing to Kansas City, Kansas. She worked in Kansas City for almost a year and a half before returning back to the Des Moines area. She then joined the Sunset Dental team and has continued her time here! In her spare time she enjoys fishing, camping, and spending time with family.
